What this policy covers

AppLock Pro is an app locking application that protects your apps using PIN, password, pattern, or biometric authentication. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

      Our Promise: All your sensitive data — PINs, locked app list, intruder photos — stays on your device only. We never upload it to any server.

Usage Access	To detect which app is in the foreground and show the lock screen
Draw Over Other Apps	To display the lock screen on top of protected apps
Camera	To capture intruder selfie after failed unlock attempts (optional — can be disabled)
Biometric / Fingerprint	To allow fingerprint as an alternative to PIN
Boot on Startup	To automatically restart the protection service after device reboot
Foreground Service	To run app monitoring service continuously in the background
Notifications	To show a persistent notification while the service is running (Android requirement)
Read Media (Images/Videos)	To display your photos/videos in the secure Vault feature
Vibrate	For haptic feedback on wrong unlock attempts
Device Administrator	To prevent AppLock Pro from being uninstalled without your PIN (optional)

Intruder Selfie Feature

Camera usage details

Front camera automatically captures a photo after multiple failed unlock attempts
Photo is saved only on your device in the app's private folder
Photos are visible only to you in the Security section of the app
Photos are never uploaded to any server
You can disable this feature anytime in Settings → Security
You can delete any intruder photo individually from the app

⚠️ Camera is only used for intruder selfie capture. It is never used to monitor you or record video.

We display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID), approximate location (IP address), and usage data for personalized ads — only with your consent via the consent dialog shown on first launch.

AppLock Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
